Eli's doctor appointment today

So - the doctor feels Elijah is doing great developmentally :) We already knew that. ;) But - it's nice to hear from a "professional" too. She was totally suprised that he "transfered" the tongue depresser from his left hand to his right. I thought it was kinda funny, cause he's been doing that stuff for a couple weeks now...but she said that's something they normally don't see until 6 months or older. Cool. :)

Here are his stats: He is 17 lbs, 3 oz and 26.25 inches ((a little over average in both areas)) - however, his head is in the 97th percentile for his age - and this has been concerning his PCP since his 2 month wellness visit. ((he was in the 90th percentile then - and I think he was closer to average at birth)) Soooooo - she's scheduled him for a CT Scan...on Valentine's day!! :/ Actually - that's ok - cause it just means the three of us get to spend most of Valentine's Day together as Daddy definitely wants to be there too. :)
Of course, you know us - we pretty much joke to get through any situation - so Daddy proudly proclaimed that OF COURSE he has a big head! It's cause his brains are so big cause he's "developing" so quickly! LOL

Anywho - It's more of a precautionary CT Scan - to rule out some possibilities - but we'd still love your prayers. :) If for no other reason, for poor little Eli - cause I was told to keep him "sleep deprived" since they don't want to sedate him for the procedure (which is fine by me!) :) But - the poor guy is going to be miserable by the time we get to the hospital. Hopefully it will help him sleep through everything rather than it making him all the more restless & anxious. ;)

Well - you know I can't post something without including a picture of our precious little guy...so - here's one from just moments ago! :) ;) It's so nice to see him smiling & playing a bit after his shots! Poor little thing was just miserable!! And his play time today is a little shorter than usual days - but seeing him having even a little fun is nice!!!
